What Brings YOU Joy?

One of my favorite creative mentors, Natasha Reilly from Creative Nachos recently asked me what may be the most important question ever.  “What brings you joy?”

I spent today contemplating that question and this is what I found.

Watching birds, bees, and butterflies while lying on my back brings me joy.

What can a tree become in your imagination?

What brings YOU joy? Did you find time in your life for joy today?

    1. So glad to hear that Liz. I tried to keep the same awareness during the weekend. It’s challenging but so worthwhile!

  1. I can’t even begin to express how much I LOVE this except to say that it brought me joy. I shared it with my children BOTH of whom said – I love that, Mom. I LOVE the beauty you find but I also deeply love the beauty and depth of your imagination. When you allow your imagination – something I think if the greatest gift we’ve ever been given – to come to life, you ARE joy. It’s incredibly inspiring. You have set imagination, heart and soul on fire this morning by sharing this. Love, love, love!! Keep seeking joy because when you do, you become a beacon of joy!

    1. What a lovely comment to receive! You were the inspiration for this post and finding my joyful moments is opening up such a wealth of new experiences. Today I went to that same park and spread out my sleeping bag on the ground to write. My imagination was definitely sparked and I just wrote my favorite chapter yet!
Thank you Natasha and I’m so happy our paths met when they did!

I'd love to hear from you!
